Brad and Dusty have set their differences aside, but the unexpected arrival of their own fathers poses a new problem and throws their peaceful family Christmas into jeopardy. After coming to blows in Daddy’s Home, Brad and Dusty have managed to put their troubles behind them and begin planning a family Christmas with Sara and the kids. But, just when it seems that a peaceful festive break is on the cards, Dusty’s dad Kurt (Mel Gibson) calls out of the blue and invites himself over for the holidays. Much like his son, Kurt cuts an imposing, macho-man figure, which Brad finds intimidating. And, to add insult to injury, Brad’s gentle and overly-affectionate dad follows suit and also invites himself to the party. Cue a clash of personalities with disaster written all over it. Now, with four dads in tow and the kids getting over-hyped for Christmas, the tension begins to rise and it looks like Brad and Dusty might be back to square one. Can they make it out of the holiday season alive? Daddy’s Home 2 is written and directed by Sean Anders, who has seen previous success with comedies including Horrible Bosses 2 (2014) and We’re the Millers (2013). Will Ferrell (Holmes and Watson) and Mark Wahlberg (Deepwater Horizon) reprise their roles as the feuding dads, while Hollywood legends John Lithgow (Interstellar) and Mel Gibson (The Professor and the Madman) play their fathers.

Greg Sestero (Dave Franco) is an aspiring actor who lacks confidence on the stage. After watching an outlandish and over-confident performance from another actor, Greg approaches the man he learns to be Tommy Wiseau (James Franco), with the two quickly becoming friends. Repeatedly rejected by mainstream Hollywood, Greg and Tommy decide to make their own film, The Room, based on a script written by Tommy. Forgotten lines, bad editing, abandoned subplots, and outlandish acting dominate the film, to create something that was ultimately defined as ‘the Citizen Kane of bad movies’ by one film critic. The Disaster Artist is a comedy and homage to the celebrated cult classic The Room (2003), based on the book of the same name by the real Greg Sestero. Directed and starring James Franco (127 Hours, Sausage Party), alongside Dave Franco (Bad Neighbours, Now You See Me) and Seth Rogan (This Is the End, The Interview), The Disaster Artist is both a rip-roaring comedy and heart felt homage to the cult hit.

Once home-schooled, a young boy with a facial deformity is thrown into wider society when he starts to attend mainstream school. Auggie (Jacob Tremblay) is just a normal kid, with one big difference. He was born with facial deformities, which meant he had to undergo several surgeries from birth. Because of this, his family home-schooled him, to help him recover. Now, he doesn’t need so many surgeries. Suggesting that he might want to try mainstream school, Auggie just wants to be a normal kid. Used to the stares and comments that strangers make every day, he now has to contend with children his own age. Making friends, confronting bullies, and learning all the while, Wonder tells the story of an extraordinary little boy who constantly defies others’ expectations of him. Based on the international best-seller by R. J. Palacio, Wonder stars Jacob Tremblay (Room) as Auggie, Julia Roberts (August: Osage Country) as his mother, Isabel, and Owen Wilson (Zoolander No. 2) as his father, Nate.
